The purpose of collecting and analysing this data is to enable the STEMM-BHIP project to ensure that a range of identities and educational disciplines are represented in our research. This will inform the development of training and policy to address bullying and harassment in STEMM disciplines. This processing is justified to develop effective interventions.

We also processes the following special category data about you: “Racial or ethnic origin”,”Religious or philosophical beliefs”,”Sexual orientation data”. The additional processing condition for this processing is “Data Subject has given explicit consent”. This processing is justified because The data is required in order to inform the development of targeted interventions and initiatives with regards to reducing bullying and harassment in STEMM disciplines.
How long do we keep your data?
The University will only keep your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which we collected it. To determine the appropriate retention period for personal data, we consider the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the personal data, the potential risk of harm from unauthorised use or disclosure of your personal data, the purposes for which we process your personal data and whether we can achieve those purposes through other means, and the applicable legal requirements.
